Eden’s Pathway LifeStyle Center (EPLC)was started ten years ago by a family with the desire to educate people of a better way of living. They were impressed to open a health food store in Madisonville, Tennessee. Things were going well and they were being of some help to the surrounding community although they soon discovered that there was more to health than just a health food store. This was not the proper approach to truly help people with their health challenges.

The approach now taken to help individuals with lifestyle changes or chronic diseases is through the cleansing process of the body. The foundation of the Ten Day Cleansing program is what they like to call the Daniel Challenge. Based upon Daniel 1:8-16 “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself… Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.”

Many people from across the U.S. and around the world have come to learn of a better way of living and to better understand the principals of the original diet God intended for mankind in Genesis 1:29. “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”    

EPLC is a homelike institution situated beautifully in the country based upon the original blueprints of sanitarium work. “It is that thirsting souls may be led to the living water that we plead for sanitariums not expensive, mammoth sanitariums, but homelike institutions in pleasant places. The sick are to be reached, not by massive buildings, but by the establishment of many small sanitariums... By sanitarium work, properly conducted, the influence of true, pure religion will be extended to many souls. From our sanitariums, trained workers are to go forth into places where the truth has never been proclaimed, and do missionary work for the Master, claiming the promise, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Matthew 28:20. Medial Ministry page 323.

They have also been able to conducts healthy living seminars across the nation and around the world educating people on how to live a life without sickness and disease. This has also been an avenue to reach people and help them physically, mentally and spiritually.

Another goal at Eden’s Pathway is to reach and teach all to embrace the health message not only for the benefit they will receive, but to also be a part of helping other individuals with their health. Through a healthier lifestyle it is possible to gain a better spiritual life as well. That is why Eden’s Pathway has incorporated a Medical Missionary Training Program for all who want to become a Medical Missionary.
